October Caddis Soft Hackle (pic attached)
This Soft Hackle pattern, swung or dead-drifted, represents this large Caddis pupa, or emerger, or drowned adult. It's been far more effective than October Caddis Dry fly patterns in late Sep through Oct. This fly is a 'must have' for our Upper Sac trip.
