  • Marin Rod and Gun Club

Our March meeting will be a Joint MTFF/NBTU meeting on Tues, Mar 21, 7 – 8:30 p.m. At the Marin Rod & Gun Club.  The presenter will be Eric Ettlinger, Aquatic Ecologist with the Marin Municipal Water District who will be making a special presentation on the impact of this winter’s rains on Coho and steelhead in the Lagunitas watershed. Eric has recently been quoted extensively on this topic in the Marin Independent Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, and NBC. Free pizza will be served, and a no-host bar will be available. This is sure to be an interesting event, and will take place at the Marin Rod and Gun Club, located at 2675 East Francisco Boulevard, San Rafael, CA 94901.

From the North: From Southbound 101, take 580 east towards the Richmond Bridge. Take the San Quentin exit ("Last Marin Exit"). Turn left, go under the freeway, and then go straight at the stop sign.

From the South: From Northbound 101, take the Sir Francis Drake exit. Bear right, and follow Sir Francis Drake to where it merges onto the 580 freeway. Stay in the exit lane and follow it off the freeway. Turn left, go under the freeway, and then go straight at the stop sign.

Parking: Drive past the scenic vista parking and turn right towards the gates. Drive through either gate, at least one will be raised. Drive past the building to the large parking lot in the back.
