Streamer patterns have a long history of success in catching Stripers, Steelhead, and most species of trout, especially Browns.
You will learn the techniques of how to make these flies strong and durable. We’ll focus on a Striper pattern that also catches big Browns (Clouser Minnow), A steelhead/Brown trout pattern (A ‘Better’ Woolly Bugger), and a trout killer (Slumpbuster).
Cost is $35 ($5 discount for members of Mt. Tamalpais Fly Fishers). Your fee includes all materials, descriptive handout, etc. Vises and tools will be available if needed.
